First dives of the year with Island Style Diving. It was a great experience again. New dive guide (for me), Yelena (sp?), was fantastic! Professional, easy going, friendly, perfect.
And whale season is in full effect! There was a pod of whales hanging outside Molokini, and another active pod on the ride back to the boat ramp. Their song was a constant soundtrack to both dives today. It’s always a pleasure to hear them and know that, even though I can’t see them, we are sharing the same small patch of ocean.
Since the shore line is still a bit murky from the storm and swells over the last couple of weeks, we did both dives at Molokini, first at Enenue and then 2nd dive at Reef’s End.
For the record, these pictures/videos were taken with the SeaLife Micro 3.0 camera with the Sola 2000 S/F hand light. On this dive I used the closeup lens (6″-24″).
