Got bitten by an eel today. There was a PVC pipe I went to pick up to dispose of properly. As per my protocol, I checked to make sure no creatures were living inside before I stuck it in my BC pocket. There was an eel, who quickly exited and took off, so I went to put the pipe in my pocket not suspecting that there was still another eel inside (different species, first was a barred, second was an undulated). Well this guy wasn’t going to leave so easily, so as soon was he stuck his head out he nipped my thumb. Not bad, no stitches, just a couple of small slices.
